Gail, don't you have a story of your own to tell us? Word has it that you joined the demolition-derby circuit. And what's the latest word from schools? Annie... are you fully recovered and healthy yet? Are you back in school already?

I forgot to put another other story on here. I went on UD's "longest night" bike ride a couple of days before Christmas and the after party at his house. His bike club friends are CRAZY. The one guy said the following quote: "bikes are like guns, you have to buy a new one every month..." and he didn't mean to replace the old one. Then there was the other guy who commutes 2 1/2 hours to work each way every day on his bike, takes 700-mile bike rides for fun and also goes deer hunting in his backyard with a bow and arrow and nails the deer heads to trees in his driveway! I think Uncle Dennis and i might have been the most sane, normal people there, if you can believe that.

what a fantastic story Peter! i fully enjoyed it, it just sucks you had to go through so much to be able to tell it. I had to share it with my parents and aunt kate and cherie and they loved it. They were really impressed with your writting and infact thought you should submit it with your college paper. love you guys tons! have a very happy new year! oh and congrats Dennis on the acceptance and AMAZING scholarship! we are graduating this year!!!!!!!!
